Storm Elimination Roll-Off

Each roudn consists of 1 shot.

Round 1: All bowlers must shoot at least 8 pins

Round 2: All bowlers must shoot at least 9 pins

Round 3: All bowlers must shoot a strike

This continues untill there are 6 or less bowlers left.

Round 4: The remaining bowlers move to the same lane and al throw one shot. The lowest count and ties are eliminated. This continues untill we have a winner. 

The best three non-qualifiers qualify for Final Step 1. 

Turbo Game 6 competition

The standing includes the 6th game in any 6 game series bowled by athletes having signed up

for the Turbo Game 6 competition before the squad of the series has started.

32 athletes will qualify for the final steps

A: 22 athletes from the general qualification standing including all squads, seeded 1-22

B: 4 athletes from a separate standing including scores from Squad 1-7, seeded 23-26

C: 1 50+ athlete from the 50+ squad, seeded 27

D: 1 youth athlete from a separate standing including two youth squads, seeded 28

E: 1 athlete from the Turbo Game 6, seeded 29

F: 3 athletes from the Desperado squad, seeded 30-32

An athlete will only qualify once and always from the categories in the order A-B-C-D-E-F.

If an athlete qualifies in more than one category, the next positioned athlete from the next

category, not valid for the already qualified athlete, will qualify.

Draw

Draws, for the 8 groups of 4 athletes in the final step 1, and for all matches in the final step

2-4, will be performed publicly in the centre.

Final Step 1

32 athletes, divided in 8 groups of 4 athletes each, will bowl 5 games starting from scratch.

The 2 best athletes in each group will qualify for the final step 2.

Eliminated athletes will be ranked 17-32 according to their seeding.

Final Step 2

There will be 8 one game matches.

The 8 winners of the matches will qualify for the final step 3

The 8 losers of the matches will be ranked 9-16 according to their seeding.

Final Step 3

There will be 4 one game matches.

The 4 winners of the matches will qualify for the final step 4

The 4 losers of the matches will be ranked 5-8 according to their seeding.

Final Step 4

There will be 2 one game matches.

The 2 winners of the matches will qualify for the final step 5

The 2 losers of the matches will be ranked 3-4 according to their seeding.

Final Step 5

There will be a one game match.

The winner of the match will be ranked 1.

The loser of the match will be ranked 2.

Youth Ranking Finals
Athletes ranked 2-9 of the Youth Ranking qualify for the Youth Ranking Finals.
The athelete ranked 1 will qualify for regular Finale Step 1 so won't be able to bowl the Youth Ranking Finals
8 athlethes will bowl a knock-out format
An open draw will determine the matchups for the quarter finals and semi-finals
All matches are one game knock-out matches

Tournament tie rules

Qualification

The highest positioned athlete will be the athlete scoring the highest last game. If a tie still

exists, the highest positioned athlete will be the athlete with the highest second last game etc.

Turbo

The highest positioned athlete will be the highest positioned athlete after the qualification.

Desperado

A tie influencing who will qualify for the first final step will be broken by playing a 9th and 10th

frame roll off, repeated until the tie is broken.

Final Step 1

Ties influencing who will qualify for the next final step will be broken by playing a 9th and 10th

frame roll off, repeated until the tie is broken.


Final Step 2-5

In case of a tie, a one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is

broken.

Movement method: Even starting lanes move right, odd lanes move left
